We welcome students that are wanting to come to Cyprus on holiday and also complete their qualification via the PADI Referral programme. The programme allows students to complete their theory exams in the home country and then complete their practical assesssments in a different country.

Meet The Cyprus Diving Centre
IDC Staff Instructor and owner of The Cyprus Diving Centre
Richard moved to Cyprus in 1999 to pursue a lifetime dream and ambition of becoming a Scuba Diving Instructor. After many hard years working in different Dive Centres, Richard eventually achieved his dream and became a Diving Instructor in his own Dive Centre.
”I think i have the best job in the world, because I love to see people’s faces when they come out of the water with a big smile on their faces.”
Martina comes from Czech republic. She came to Cyprus and started working in a bar next to the Cyprus Diving Centre. It took a couple of weeks of working in the bar before she tried scuba diving and she hasn’t looked back since.
We first met Graham whilst teaching his daughter to dive. Graham joined us as an Advanced Open Water Diver and since joining us has worked his way up to Divemaster.
Ella and Tusa
The dive centre mascots
Ella is eleven in March. We found her abandoned and living under a rusty old truck. At the time we had a family of divers in the dive centre and we tried to find a name for her. The children were chasing her around the garden and she fell over a case of Pepsi so the kids wanted to call her Pepsi. But as a pup she kept running off so the greek for come here is ELLA. That how she got her name and she has been with The Cyprus Diving Centre ever since.
Tusa was found in a cardboard box at the side of the road. So we took her back to the dive centre, bathed her and gave her some food, water, foreverhome and named Tusa after Richard’s fins.
Cyprus Diving Centre looks forward to seeing a smile on your face soon!
